10-2 Paducah, Kentucky

We took the courtesy car to Paducah and enjoyed the historic town.

Dennis and Karen on Shell Seaker enjoying the sights of Paducah.
We talked our guys into touring the largest quilt and fiber art museum in the world. The quilts were breathtaking!

This quilt was named Redwoods.

The Market House was long the center of the community.  Today's 1905 Market House is the third market on this site since Paducah's founding in 1827.

Historic downtown with tons of restaurants and shops.

The Floodwall Murals were amazing.  After the catastrophic flood of 1937 the flood walls were constructed.  They have been painted to depict Paducah history.  Some of the paintings are so realistic when photographing them.  Extremely interesting walking tour.

Paducah was named after Chief Paduke, of the Chickasaw Indians who were living in the area.
