J's Landing in Florence, Alabama is where the boat was hoisted up and placed in the Tennessee River. We were busy cleaning and putting Loop Dreams back together including the canvas. The weather is cold and makes the canvas harder to stretch.
We are staying in the travel lift slip next to the Red Neck Yacht Club. Had to take a photo of that and met some of the nicest people. Freeman and Linda Sue invited us out with the gang to eat supper. That was a welcomed break and we truly appreciate the Alabama hospitality.
Another couple, Bob and Lynda on Erika Lin pulled in and they are heading off to Joe Wheeler as well. Our first couple to meet doing the loop! We went to visit them to get some ideas on how to handle the Wheeler lock. They were very helpful.
Sleeping on the boat tonight. Cold and rainy.
