May 6-10, 2013  Spring Rendezvous

We left early Monday to catch a plane and Jennifer graciously took us to the airport.  We were anxious to get back on our boat, but first we were to go to the Spring Rendezvous at Norfolk, VA.  We missed the introduction dinner that night because US Air cancelled our flight out of Charlotte, NC and we sat in the airport most of the day.  Finally arrived at the Waterside dock around 9:30pm
and were greeted by Rick and Betsy Johnson, on Rick 'N Roll. They kindly offered us the 2nd stateroom on their Endeavor.  We had a wonderful time and it was fun getting to know them better. They are seasoned cruisers that shared a wealth of information. 
The seminar was great and the classes offered detailed cruising information for our final leg of the journey.  Bob and Lynda Krueger on Erika Lynn were there and they plan to cruise with us for a portion of the trip.  They were on their way to CT to prep their boat.
