June 13,
Burlington, Vermont
We woke up
to a cold and cloudy day and cruised 27 miles to Burlington. Burlington is the largest town on Lake Champlain
and it was hopping! We tried the
generator for grins…it did not work…so we called another mechanic and he
started to diagnose the problem. Ken was
looking over his shoulder when he discovered a hole in the fuel line. Eureka, one problem solved!!!
A gear was
ordered for the windlass and we had it shipped to a Canada Marina.
We took a
courtesy bus into town and thoroughly enjoyed the sites. Drove through the University of Vermont and
stopped at the pedestrian city blocks which were dotted with gift shops,
restaurants and boutiques. We splurged
and bought Vermont Maple syrup…yummy!
