9-20 Stranded at Illinois Valley Yacht Club, Peoria

We had the car until noon and we ran across town to do laundry and Ken had an errand at Sears before we turned in the car. The mechanic, Tony made it to the boat mid afternoon with bad news.  The wrong cable was delivered.  They ordered the correct cable and he is to be here Saturday afternoon to repair the boat. We are both very disappointed.  Looks like we will be staying here a few more days.  Unfortunately, this marina is not close to anything. We are stranded!  However, we are fortunate because this boat has not had any major problems during our loop.  We need to count our blessings!
