9-3 Grand Haven, MI

We decided to take advantage of the good travel conditions and cruised 75 miles today to Grand Haven.  When we arrived we discovered more Loopers.  It is so nice to meet some fellow cruisers!
The Grand Haven Municipal Marina is located off the break wall and with the west entrance we are rocking and rolling at the dock. It is not in a very protected area.  Jim Angel, a fellow Looper on Blue Angel,  lives here and greeted us at the dock.  He offered to take us to a grocery store and I lit up.  Wal Mart was several miles away, and with Ken's family visiting this Thursday, I needed a few provisions.  He was a life saver!

Early September and these petunias look like fresh spring flowers!  They would be burned up in Texas!
