July 11,
Picton
A sunny,
calm morning and we are off to Picton, Ontario.
Cruising for 38 miles, on Lake Ontario, Ken decided to plane part of the
way. We arrived around lunch time and
tied up at Picton Harbor. While
exploring the town, we popped in a grocery store and purchased pickerel, walleye
as we know it. This fish is not available in the states. Walleye was a favorite catch when Ken and his
dad went fishing. Guess what we are
having for supper.
That evening after a rain shower we walked back
into town and watched War Z at the Regent Theater. This one screen theater has been renovated
and it reminded me of the times when I was a little girl and walked to the
picture show.
