July 22, Hockey Hall of Fame

July 22, Hockey Hall of Fame

Off to catch a morning bus and subway to downtown Toronto.   Ken visited the Hockey Hall of Fame while Rita and I went shopping.  We lucked out and took advantage of the summer sales.  With the mall so crowded it looked like Christmas with shoppers hustling to and fro.

We stepped outside to discover that Toronto looked like a mini Times Square with a huge billboard flashing advertisements and the water fountains dancing in the wind.  Traffic everywhere and the streets were busy with shoppers, tourists and professionals scurrying.  Down town Dallas would be envious!  We met up with Ken and he shared some hockey trivia with us while we rode the subway home.

That evening we left for the movies to find out after Rita bought a big bag of pop corn and drink that the show was sold out.  After driving around for an hour looking for a Red Box we finally located one at a grocery store close to their home.  During that time frame we all had our giggle boxes turned up-side-down  and  we were  just laughing at nonsensical matters.  We ended up sprawling out on the floor in their master bedroom to watch a flick.  Another great day with our friends.
