July 4, Smiths Falls

Pouring rain we left Merrickville to cruise 32 miles and navigate 8 locks to Victoria Park Marina at Smiths Falls. Later in the day the rain stopped and Larry and I were glad to see the sun, since we were standing in the rain while we were holding the lines in the lock.

Larry went to pick up the car at the train station and Ken and I were excited to have a car.  First stop was Wal Mart to get provisions.  Everyone was dragging and we had a quiet evening on the boat after we drove around town.
