July 1, Canada Day

Diane called an old family friend, Louise and she picked us up at the marina and treated us to lunch.  She was full of energy and sharp as a tack for being in her mid 80s.

We took the bus to view the Peace Exhibition at the Canadian War Museum.  Canada Day offered free bus rides and free museums.   Afterwards, we watched the fireworks set off close to Parliament Hill.  We had a fun-filled day.
